IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING EMERGENCY CALLS

Localization and Address Dependence

When using peoplefone Internet Telephony Services (VoIP/SIP), it is essential to be aware of the specifics concerning emergency calls (E112).

1. Localization and Address Dependence

The correct distribution of emergency calls is fully dependent on the personal data provided during registration with peoplefone (the address specified during registration).

• The system will only provide the emergency services with the registered localization address and does not automatically transmit your precise geographical location.
• If the stated registration address is incorrect, the emergency call may be incorrectly distributed, and it may not be possible to properly identify the caller’s current location.

2. Your Safety Measures

• Always when calling an emergency line, you must clearly and calmly state your current, exact address and location (street, number, city/municipality) to ensure prompt assistance.
• Recommendation: If you change the location where you use our service (e.g., moving house), contact us immediately to update your registered localization address.

Crucial Warning: In case of any doubt regarding your location identification, or if you need to make an urgent emergency call, please use a mobile phone.

3. Service Dependences and Outages

Our service depends on electrical power supply and active internet connectivity.

• In the event of a power outage or loss of internet connection, it will not be possible to make an emergency call through our VoIP service. You must use a mobile phone or a traditional landline with independent power supply.

4. Available Emergency and Special Numbers

peoplefone provides public telephone network and internet telephony services in accordance with the definition of Public Electronic Telecommunication Service as per Act No. 610/2003 Coll. on Electronic Communications, as amended.

We provide access to the following emergency call numbers:

Special Numbering and Limitations

• Calls to 0800 numbers are not charged.
• Calls to 0850 numbers are charged according to the price list, as a call to a fixed line.
• It is not possible to make calls to audiotext numbers and other types of short numbers through our service.
